Refund Policy
Effective: [Effective date]
You pay once for each invitation's plan. This page says when you can get that money back and what happens to the invitation if you do.
In short
If you have not published the invitation yet, you get a full refund when you ask. After you publish, we look at each request until the day of the event. After the event there are no refunds. A refund removes the plan from the invitation.
Before you publish
If the invitation a plan was bought for has never been published, we refund the full price on request.
After you publish
Once the invitation has been published, we decide each request on its own merits until the day of the event. After the day of the event, plans are not refunded.
What a refund does
A full refund removes the plan, and everything it unlocked, from the invitation. The page goes offline for guests at once, and the invitation goes back to the limits of a free draft.
The invitation is then kept for up to 30 days, in which the owner can buy a plan again or save the answers and what guests posted. Then it closes, and 14 days later everything guests posted is deleted for good.
A refund of a single extra removes only that extra.
How to ask
Write to [Contact email] from the email address of your account, with the reference shown on your receipt.
The money goes back to the payment method you used. Your bank usually shows it within five to ten business days.
What we cannot refund
Money a guest sent to a host through pitch-in never passes through Invitly, so we cannot return it. Ask the host, or the payment app you used.
If you are thinking of disputing a charge with your bank, please write to us first: we can usually settle it faster. A charge lost in a dispute removes the plan just as a refund does. See also our Terms of Service.
